The deal from Microsoft where college students can get a free Xbox 360 when buying a Windows 7 desktop or laptop for $699 or more has been extended to September 24. The deal originally was set to expire on September 3rd.
The Xbox 360 model that you get for free is the 4GB console which sells for $199. So college students which are now looking for a new Windows desktop or laptop might consider taking advantage of this deal.
